Obedience Puppy Training

Brett Suttle was born in Pennsylvania and raised Ohio, where he currently resides. Post high school, Brett served in the United States Navy, then worked his way through college, earning his Bachelors of Science in business. In 1998, while working as a rescue diver, Brett became so fascinated with search dogs that he joined the Ohio K9 Search Team where he served in several officer positions and as a certified dog handler until 2005. During this time, Brett and his K9s became certified in many search disciplines, including cadaver, water, building search, and human remains, along with live land searches. Brett supported multiple state and federal agencies in the search for lost or missing persons in and around the nation.
Over the years, Brett has continually expanded his canine knowledge and education to include service dog training and ultimately his Master Dog Trainer’s certification. His love and dedication to these animals have culminated in Brett founding The Rude Dog K9 Training Company.
The Rude Dog K9 Training Company was designed as a one-stop shop for both you and your puppy.
He offers a wide range of dog training services, including puppy training, basic obedience, advanced and off-leash obedience, scent theory and service training. Brett is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP) and a certified evaluator for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Award program as well as a PetTech Instructor for teaching K9 First Aid and CPR.
From his love of canines came a need for healthy food alternatives and as a result, in 2008, Brett created his own line of dog food named after his black Labrador and longtime search partner, Louie. Louie’s Bark’n Grill was established to supply dog owners with healthier options to feed their 4-legged friends.

PRIVATE TRAINING SESSIONS
Private training sessions are available upon request. These sessions are focused on one primary issue such as aggression or a dietary need.
These sessions are 90 minutes and the owner handles the dog the majority of the session.
PUPPY TRAINING
These Classes are geared towards dogs between the ages of 8 and 20 weeks. Due to Covid-19, these classes have been reduced in size and are being scheduled as needed. Please call for date and details.

Your dog will be outfitted with the correct training collar which will best open the communication between you and your dog. During this process you will have the option on which technique you would like to continue to use. The Associate Program is a 3-Day Board and Train program that addresses the major unwanted behaviors of your dog and build a solid foundation for an obedient dog. This program will build the confidence of the dog and give it the stability needed in everyday events so that you can calmly walk and relax with your dog in public settings.
The Associate Program gives the dog owner more peace of mind on being able to control their dog in particular situations such as walking in public or interacting with other dogs and addressing the pulling, jumping and barking that may also arise in these types of situations.

The Master Program is a 5-Day Board and Train program that addresses not only the unwanted behaviors and build the foundation for an obedient dog, but to also address any emotional behavior problems that may be causing underlying issues. This program will build the confidence of the dog and give it the stability needed in everyday events so that you can calmly walk and relax with your dog in public settings.
The Master Program gives the dog owner more peace of mind and a relaxed feeling of being able to control their dog in many different settings. The confidence of the owner will instill the same comfort and confidence in the dog so that time spent with the dog is much more enjoyable and stress free. Counter surfing, object socialization and reactive awareness along with nutritional needs will also be addressed in this program.
